How can we make our homes even more beautiful? What influence do colours have, and how do you find the perfect shade? What trends await us in the future? For 15 years, I have been dealing with questions about living and interior design on a daily basis. Not only because it's my profession, but because I'm passionate about these topics. I conceptualise, produce and write interior design features, trend pages, home and travel reports as well as portraits. I have an extensive network of architects, interior designers, furniture manufacturers and designers, allowing me to quickly find the right contact for interviews. At design fairs and on my travels, I discover trends, hotspots, new hotels, shops and young talents. As a lifestyle expert, I'm always on the pulse of the zeitgeist and curious about the stories behind it. In addition to beautiful writing, I offer a keen visual sense and organise and supervise productions and reports for print and TV.
Work
Already during my journalism studies in Münster and Hamburg, I was interested in home and living topics. As a trainee and television editor at Companions TV, I was able to turn my passion into a profession. For the NDR magazine "Wohnträume" (Living Dreams), I independently supervised and organised features, wrote scripts and directed – in total, I contributed to over 60 home reports. Afterwards, I moved into print journalism and worked for ten years at Deco & Style Experts. This service editorial team produces the home and decoration pages for the various magazine editorial departments of Bauer Media Group. My responsibilities included not only conceptualising and writing the pages but also planning and approving photo productions in the studio or on location. During this time, I was also involved in several magazine developments. This was followed by almost three years at the magazine "Wohnidee", which expanded my existing portfolio to include travel, food and garden topics.
